Weekend Recap (I need a more catchy name)

I've heard it referred to as MILF Monday but I'm not a ma or an ILF. Maybe I should just call these posts "Made it to Monday" because sometimes I feel like it's a damn miracle that I did. This wasn't one of them, unfortunately! It was actually pretty laid back. Wanna hear about it? Good, because I'm gonna tell you anyway.

So from the beginning of time since like last year, the bff and I have done a little something we like to call HHH (homemade happy hour). No one has the damn funds to go out for drinks every Friday! We usually pick something tasty to drink (my drink of choice is vodka + simply limeade, shit's delicious)! This coming Friday I'll be trying a highly recommended blended beverage consisting of moscato and frozen strawberries, I have high hopes! Then we get some snacks and sit in my kitchen and destroy them/bitch about our week/catch up. We usually invite other people and have recently added a regular or two (there's an application process)! It's typically the highlight of my week. I may have drank a little too much this week and posted a couple keeks. I went ahead and skipped the upload of me singing along to the Big Sean portion of As Long as you Love Me, but a few unfortunate souls did receive that in a text, you're welcome. And just for the record, I can tear that part UP. Oh yeah, I also tried on this bridesmaids dress for a wedding I'm in this June. In summary, I'm not a huge fan, but it fits and has pockets. Also, I need a dang tan.

It looks like I'm drinking alone. False.

I woke up on Saturday morning feeling like a million dollars no seriously I actually felt like a million dollars. Got to the gym around 7, sweated my boobs off (this is literally happening, unfortunately) then went to the bux and got some coffee for the hubs and I. The rest of the day was spent in a relatively laid back fashion. Saturday evening we met up with a college friend and his adorable little girl (read: baby fever). We had an awesome evening full of laughs and catching up while I swooned over the hotness that is a man with a kid (sorry Ben, it's true, and when we have kids I'll swoon extra for you).

Sunday (Sunday Gunday) consisted of ingesting way too much caffeine prior to going to an 8:30 body pump class. I spent the whole class crossing my fingers that my heart wouldn't actually fucking explode and once again, sweating my boobs off. I'm liking the weekend workouts and think I'll try to keep them up to see how much they help on a weekly basis. Basically, I wanna look good naked and if adding 2 days to my workout can help, I'm down.

I know they're wee. I'm tryin!

Speaking of looking good naked, I would like to provide an update! My stomach DOES still jiggle when I brush my teeth but I will admit it's not as jello-like as it used to be. I will continue to update you on my jiggles, because I'm pretty sure that was my #1 weight loss goal.

Oh, and one more thing! For all you ridiculously sweet people that left me some cheery uppy comments on my debbie downer post last week, THANK YOU! Thanks for going out of your way to help turn around my day! I'm feeling good and in way less of a funk and so much of that is thanks to you!
