This weekend was pretty excellent! Friday's HHH was pretty epic, but what do you expect's gonna happen when you put a bunch of nice and hilarious people together? Everyone got along, we had tons of tasty food and did some damage on some tasty drinks. All in all, it was perfect. I love the fact that I'm surrounded by people that give others the benefit of the doubt and a chance to get along. The boys came too, mostly made fun of the girls, but I think they had a good time!
The girls! |
The boys! Don't they look thrilled?! |
I blame Chelsea for bringing peanut butter pie. And yes, Fridays are my cheat day. |
You tryin to be twins? Well, Vanessa over at Ruffles with Love is making it cheaper for us to be twinsies! She's letting me give my awesome readers 15% off their order. Head over and pickup one (or all, they're all awesome) of these gems. They're comfortable, flattering and they make your guns look freakin phenomenal. Oh yeah and they also get lots of laughs and attention. Tonight's body pump instructor always calls me out when I wear the "fat crying" tank. Let's seeeeee what she says when I show up in some supercalafragilisticexpealidopeshit tonight. So go check out some tanks and get one and then send me a selfie of you wearing it because you know it's gonna look good.

Last but not least…I entered my first 5k this weekend. I'm
Happy Tuesday!!
So I made myself a challenge that if I run every day this week, I will reward myself with a dress from Kiki La Rue. Now I want my reward to be these tanks! I have been looking at them for a while, but I already have so many t shirts, it is hard to justify. With the discount, totally justifiable. Now I am in a total dilemma!!
ReplyDeleteI'm jealous of your HHH!! You guys always seem to have so much fun :)
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great weekend! I'm also flat footed and always had problems finding sneakers that felt comfortable. I went to my local running shop and they recommended Brooks Ghost and Saucony Triumph. I have a pair of each and alternate between them. Hope this helps and enjoy the rest of your Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteI'm a Brooks girl fo' life. My feet are super pronated and these shoes have helped with arch support, like whoa. They're expensive as shit, but as long as you're cool with giving up your first born you should be golden.
ReplyDeleteYou seriously crack my shit up!
ReplyDeleteI am a heavy runner (230lbs) and a terrible pronator. I only wear Asics. Kayanos are the best but they are $150. Any style marked "stability" is good though.
Hi! New reader here. You seriously crack me up. I'm also a fellow flat footer... And I'm a brooks girl too. I went and got fitted at a local running store. Mine were about 100 bucks but they're probably one of the best purchases I've made. I'm not really sure how I was running any amount of distance in my other non running shoes. Definitely worth the investment.
